Hello and my name is Jim Vickers, creator of Prowood Fingerboards. Prowood is a family owned business and I'd like you to get to know more about me and my family and as we create your custom boards, we hope to get to know you too! As our customer, your wants and needs are the key to understanding and growing our business and that is why we put your needs at the forefront of our product development efforts.  So, let's get to know each other.  I can't wait!

A bit about the Vickers family.........

We are a family of seven (7) and Prowood Fingerboards is a family business.  Most are avid fingerboarders and skateboarders - but we also have a gymnast and a football player- shhhhh!  You can often times find us at the Louisville Extreme Park on all but the coldest and snowiest days.  Other times, you will find us at various parks in the Greater Cincinnati area. 

Our son, Weston is a sponsored skater for Fickle Skateboards and you will find us cheering him on at competitions.  When he is not competiting, you will find Weston helping out his brothers and sisters on the ramps as well as teaching his other skaters all the latest new tricks!  Check out Weston, we think you will truly enjoy his style!

As to Prowood Fingerboards, that's where all of us get involved.  From the creation of the decks in our home workshop, to sales and marketing, to testing out the boards and trying new tricks, to simply playing around, you will see we all love Prowood Fingerboards.  You will find us fingerboarding- in the car, on the kitchen table, on the school bus, at McDonalds. You can fingerboard anywhere, just use your imagination and you have a new and fun place to skate, every day of the year!

Our reviews on Ebay and YouTube speak for themselves.  Many have compared the Prowood Fingerboard to the famous Berlinwood boards, and say the Prowood is a better board hands down.  Try us out, we think you will agree.  Prowood Fingerboards are simply the best!
